We are here for you Kate; you have been there for so many of us. I'm sending you some positive thoughts and a great big hug. When I had my brain injury a year and 1/2 ago (that is what brought me to SR and getting sober), my thought process AND my emotions were really really screwed up. My guess is that the tumor could do this too. Treat yourself with kindness as you go through this journey.
