I thought I was going to need a hitch extension for my new jeep. My bike rack worked on my pick'em up truck nicely. But with the spare on the wrangler I thought I wouldn't have enough room. Took it out to measure the clearance and it fit! No need for extension. Except I may get a tandem extender to use the bike rack along with kayak trailer. But not really necessary because the bikes will fit onto/in the trailer with yaks. That's only for camping trip anyway. Otherwise bike or paddle. Woohoo! I'm starting to get motivation to do stuff.
