Tried it....doesn't work. I am now 42yrs old and on Day 4. I wish I had questioned my drinking 20yrs ago and decided to stop then. I even had times when I wouldn't drink for extended periods but it was always there lurking....and the binge drinking didn't stop ...I just did it alone because my non-alcoholic friends outgrew that phase.
By the way you are in the perfect place. Questioning yourself is how recovery begins and I am grateful you are here acknowledging your drinking habits are causing you concern.
