It makes me so sad to think of the countless hours of memories that I've given up with my kids due to my blacking out.
I understand those feelings 100%. I try to cope with them by being the best dad I can today, and I already see a difference. Kids are much more wary than we think...and they already know you are doing better...believe me. You are also teaching them a valuable lesson about how to overcome adversity....keep up,the good work.
