Reminds me of the challenges I'm dealing with trying to be "family" with my brother now that our mom is in assisted living. He lives just down the block and has NO ONE else. Things to work through...
Grateful for the first fire in the fireplace for this season.
And grateful I kept stopping myself from doing "busy-ness" after I said this morning I was taking the day off. I still did a lot of stuff, but I also stopped and DIDN'T do some things I knew could wait. Glad I'm getting better at taking it easy.
