what we need to remember regarding court ordered ones
sometimes the sober seed is planted for them in these meetings
even though they are not interested in the Program (at this time)
somewhere down the road of time many return
and
are very serious regarding sobriety and the Program

this was my case
first introduced to AA back in camp when I was 18 years old
sent to AA by the courts several times over the years
then in the later life
yes
I truly wanted this
I was more than willing (beat to a pulp due to a lifetime of drinking)
and
grateful to still be alive

possibility
maybe God is planting those seeds
we just don't know where or in who he is planting them
