I have been aware of Roger Ekirch's discovery, after decades of sleep problems, I finally have a handle on it. My "bedtime" is now within an 11 hour window. I need to be up at 6:00am, so I am in bed sleeping by 7:00pm. Some friends now think I am boring and that I am missing out on some "night life", but I am so refreshed and feeling better in the morning while most people need caffeine to start the day. In the night, I awaken at around 12:00am and stay up for about 2 hours. Spend the time reading or working on math problems, or playing guitar, nothing too "exciting". I actually found this lifestyle helps with my sobriety as my middle of the night time gives me time to reflect. I am not missing anything.
