I'm afraid I don't know much about tablets because I don't take them... but my advice to you is to speak to your doctor. They will know what is best for you. I suffered from the same things, once over, and I know how uncomfortable they make one feel.
Until you speak to your GP, remember that breathing exercises, done properly, can help both of the issues that you mention.
