Today went better than I thought with my crazy building. The 100 year old elevator part is out and on its way to Queens, NY the only place in the country that works on old machines like that. Don't make things like they used to, gears and wheel is about the size of a typical dining room chair, but it weighed nearly 750 lbs, all cast iron.
So with that done without much drama and all else being quiet, I got a lot of paper work done, the end of month reports done and the check in the bank.
And I went and had an ice cream cone. First time this year. Being diabetic I should not indulge, but a single cone is not overdoing it.
