Yes indeed - lots of us drunks, prior to working for sobriety can stop drinking - even for stretches of days or weeks, but STAYING stopped is the problem. We have an obsession with alcohol that is removed from us - will power has very little to do with it. Left to my own power I will drink again because I'm a drunk and that's what drunks do. But God has relieved me of that obsession for today, and that's an amazing thing!
