Yes, I probably should have waited until I see the new doctor but I had already started tapering, as much as I could, and now I'm (hopefully) halfway through I'd like to keep going forward if I can.
The other problem was that the doctor I did ask told me that I could just go off of it, no problem. It's scary how uneducated they are about prescribing these powerful drugs.
