With my divorce, after an agreed upon date the contents of the house became mine. I personally get a little nervous about doing things like this. A quick call to a lawyer may cost you something now, but if she still has legal claim to this stuff and it goes away it could be really ugly and much more expensive. But like I said I get nervous about this stuff, my experiences warrant it, but maybe not in your case.
