Marcher, I know what you mean, I was dispensing glasses yesterday and the lad had been drinking, and the smell seemed to some from his pores!
A few weeks back I had a smoker who was a real 'space invader' every time I moved to give some space she closed in, I was all but heaving! I always hated the smell even as a smoker 20 odd years ago, though at the time I smoked, I never truly realised how the smell follows you around like Pigpen and his dirt cloud!! ( sorry class nicotine addicts but it's true)
