My past experience with Kolopin and similar Benzo type drugs did cause me to become addicted to them. I was on a very high daily dose by way of doctor shopping. The withdraw from a high daily dose is traumatic and can be life treating. At least it was was for me.
I currently have great respect for the prescribed .5 mg daily dose of Avativan I now take. I generally can go a few days to a few weeks in-between doses. I'm very grateful that I can avoid abusing my Avativan because I'm working a daily recovery program.
