Hi Keegan. I have been sober 10 months. Over that time I have used some AA, participated in online support groups, read AVRT, gone to addiction counseling, and spent 24 days in an in-patient facility. The whole nine yards! The variety of experiences has been really helpful, there are so many great ideas out there to pick and chose from. I hog all the good parts from each program and create my own "Recovery Stew" that works for me. There are a million ways to get sober, but they all start the same way - by putting down the drink.
