Definitely not weird. One of the reasons I got sober was because my (English Mastiff) puppy had such high expectations of me! (She's in my avatar, so you can see there was a happy ending.) She wanted walks and love and play time - and I wasn't up for it. I decided she deserved better. Whatever works, Mayor.
