Ob.... I was exactly the same way. I had to work during the day and I would tell myself I wouldn't drink that night. Right after work, I'd be going to the gas station to buy some beer!
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expect different results. It was insanity. AND I almost REALLY lost my mind... sure there were other reasons mixed in, but the alcohol had it's chain around me and was pulling me closer and closer to the abyss.
