He went to an AA meeting!
So AH went to an AA meeting last night...I am not holding my breath, but it took a lot of courage for him to do that for the first time...to admit that there is a problem and to take some steps to change! I'm hopeful that this is a good first step...and that hopefully we are capable of steering this ship in a new direction. I am going to counseling myself, but is there anything else I can do to be supportive? He is talking about "just having a few drinks on the weekends" but that makes me nervous...should I just keep my mouth shut and let him find his own path through AA?
