No problem, I haven't been around here much myself. My alcoholic dad drank all day every day till 80 years old so that's all I know. It certainly is a problem, but until she seeks help, you should study up on the whole thing. Read through some of the stickies posted above, they are really helpful.
There is a way to be notified on the email:
Go to the top blue bar on this page and click on
USER CP
then go down on the right side and click on
EDIT OPTIONS
then look over the page and find
DEFAULT THREAD SUBSCRIPTION MODE
it says:
When you post a new thread, or reply to a topic, you can choose to automatically add that thread to your list of subscribed threads, with the option to receive email notification of new replies to that thread.
Then the drop down menu is next to
"Default Thread Subscription Mode:"
it has selections to choose:
Do not subscribe
No email notification
Instant email notification
Daily email notification
Weekly email notification
Choose what works for you.
Note that thereafter when you post you must SUBSCRIBED to that thread to activate the email notification choice.
