I think if I was doing this project (please note that I have never installed flooring!
), I would lay the pieces out before gluing them all down, to make sure everything fits where it is supposed to and that you have enough to cover the area. I think you are awesome for giving it a go. And I have a feeling it will turn out great. Best of luck to you!!!
