Thrown in the towel, not sure when I'll care again. Some circumstances have a way of rendering the Alcoholic in me completely vulnerable. I post here now to remind myself of where I want to be but I am in no mental shape to muster a fight at this time.
I did this a lot - almost as I was ceding control to my addiction and letting it set my timetable.
You and I are the ones that can save our lives TBD.
Forget about whatever is happening in your life or in your head...there is never 'a good time to quit' - you know that right?
It's hard, it's uncomfortable and it will take effort but if you want to stop the spiral, you absolutely can.
The first step is reaching out and finding support. If AA sounds like a good idea to you - go for it
