First off, you are not alone. Your situation is not uncommon either. For me, I have never had gastric bypass but I am a recovering compulsive overeater and a recovering alcoholic. It is very common to exchange one addiction or another. I know for a fact that people who have had GB get a buzz even quicker than someone who has not. Welcome to the forum, keep posting and if you can, go online and look for the big book of alcoholics anonymous. It is a free download. my reading this book shed a lot of light on why I drank and why I overate.
