as for you title of this thread......I would suggest that IF YOU can just "turn it off" you may not really BE an alcoholic. That's part of the deal....we alcoholics can't "just turn it off"
on our own or we would have done so a lonnnnng time ago.
Luckily, WE don't have much to do with turning it off...it gets turned off FOR us. (in AA, that is).
