I like to pretend that the whiny, addiction voice telling me to take a drink belongs to an ex-girlfriend who cheated on me, stole from me, and is now knocking at my door asking for a loan. I just smile now, and close the door.
Oh, by the way, I am 21 days sober today. It gets easier every day.
