Duane- welcome! Like basias said, it's normal for us to be afraid of being completely sober. Good for you for going to the doctor - He/she should be able to give you advice. I would definitely be asking the same questions.
Take it a day at a time and remember it's a process. Our minds/emotions can be all over the place at first. Be patient with yourself - you can do it!
