I DID IT! Thanks for all of your support. By the time he came into the office I was "over ready", I started crying and it all came out. He was beyond understanding and non-judgmental. Made it clear that the number one thing he wanted me to do is not to drive if I drank (sounds simple enough). Next he ordered some blood tests and ask me to read "The Big Book". Didn't even tell me to stop drinking (weird!). He will see me again next week. Big hug at the end of the visit and I think he was also teary eyed!
