Well he can do ALL the 'outpatient' he wants where you live.

There are AA meetings, practically 24 hours a day.

There are many here on this site, both here in the F&F and those in recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction, that did it WITHOUT someone else 'paying for it.' And we (myself included) have recovered.

I know personally that where you are in L.V. that Salvation Army has a GREAT FREE program as does St. Vincent De Paul. There are several 'Alano' clubs (where meetings are held from early morning until late at night) also in L.V.

I say the above, because you were 'generous' enough to give him a foothold in sobriety. Now it is up to him to cement his progress and keep moving forward ON HIS OWN.

I hope yhou have found some help for yourself, be it Alanon, private counseling with an addiction specialist, your church community, or somewhere else!
