Having a plan going in is a great idea, it has saved me a couple of times. Most of the time I find out I make a bigger situation out of deals like this than they actually are. Spend your time focusing on your friend as it's her special day, try to cater to her needs and wants and before you know it you will have made it successfully through the day.
