I too feel for all of us who have gone and are going through this awful illness with a loved one. It's so hard for them to see what they are doing to themselves and their families. My AH seems to have no idea that he's an alcoholic and quacks about me having bad habits when I say anything at all related to drinking. The alcohol sucks the life, their memory, fun, and personality right out of them. The bottle seems to be their one and only friend....very sad.
