It still kicks me in the gut
My husband has always been a beer drinker. Don't get me wrong, he enjoyed other alcohol as well but beer was his first choice. When I moved back into the house I started finding vodka bottles hidden in corners in the basement. This morning, 7 months since he left I found 2 new bottles. Why is it always such a surprise? Its what alcoholics do. But I never thought my husband would do it. He was different. Obviously not. Add this to the list of triggers.
