The trick is to stay busy.
And keep the new focus on the here and now
and the mind in my own circle.
It was a long time before I realized
that truth didn't need me backing it up
to be as real as it already is.
I have a 'no tolerance' liar policy.
I don't abide half-truths
and I don't spread them.
But that doesn't mean they're not flying like gnats
all around me most of the time.
I just have other things to do now.
I don't know
it becomes this ... thing
that isn't so necessary for *me* to be the one
following it up.
That was a big lesson for me.
