My last date was 2-21-11. I thought it was a nice date; it worked. 2s and 1s and the 11 at the end. Nice. I could see myself getting that date tattooed on my body someday. But 3-12-11...just ew
If it were me I'd say to myself "You're obsessing about numbers again. It's nonsensical and distracting you from reality" and then think about something else. I had to pull myself back in from that kind of thinking many many times in early sobriety.
