I am a landlord and I can assure you that you do have many "rights" and can easiliy stall any eviction for months!
Landlords cannot enter the residences of their tenants without scheduling an appointment unless in the event of an emergency ... fire, water pipe broken etc...
Consult a lawyer... or just visit your courthouse and chat with the girls who file eviction papers. They cannot give "legal advice" but they usually can provide you with packets or information on the "process" in your state.

Do not despair... you will be fine if you take the time to find out and demand your rights under the law!
