We totally get it. I never really wanted to quit. I always wanted to control it, but failed repeatedly.
Some of those failures ended in disaster.
Try to be really honest with yourself here. How long have you been trying to congtrol your drinking. How long have you failed...?
Why do you think it's going to be different this time? Just b/c you want it to be, simply won't make it so.
I simply couldn't think out of my alcoholism. If you're an alcoholic, you'll probably be unable to as well.
We'll be here if you ever decide to come back.
