What helped me in early recovery...I made a list of all the bad
things that happened to me because I drank.
Another of why I desired to quit...and my goals that I aimed
for in the sober future.
Anytime I thought "No big deal" I read my list...and Yes! my
future was a big deal. So is yours....
Have you considered a temporary sponsor? Check out Beginners meetings
or ask in your regular meetings for a sponsor.
It was also useful to me to begin making new sober AA friends.
We went for coffee after meetings..and it was interesting and fun.
