Maybe some people feel that the fact that I am drinking occassionally invalidates everything I am saying. This is the other problem I have with AA. I don't think every alcoholic is the same. I think every person's problem is unique and every solution is different.
If you are an alcoholic, and I am not saying you are or aren't. Then your illness is progressive 100% of the time. Thinking you are an exception to this rule would be totally delusional.
There are a lot of fallacies and misconceptions floating around AA meetings but this is NOT one of them.
