last person in the universe that can actually help her, indeed, your continued involvement with her may be
extremely detrimental to her recovery, in spite of all of your good intentions.
You're not a therapist, addiction counselor, or psychiatrist, best to leave the helping to the professionals.
A last thought,
she's an ex for a reason, and as an added bonus, you wouldn't have to associate with that 'type' of person anymore.
