Thanks for the words of support, you all.
I think it's a blessing in disguise that I'm mostly unemployed right now, so I have plenty of time to work on recovery, go to meetings, etc.
Some days when I'm feeling low for being poor and unemployed, I just realize how grateful I am to be sober and moving in the right direction.
I'm terrified of some of the AA step work. But I feel like I've "accomplished" steps 1 and 2 already.
