I think I may understand a little Margaret. I hadnt seen my father for 3 years before his death. I was there when he died and I did go to his funeral. I was very angry at him for years but also over the years I have slowly accepted 'he was who he was' 'it was what it was' and I cant change that, so this helped me move forward.
