Thumbs up

It is nice to find out
how others spend their
days sober or clean.

I learned that if i do
at least one thing a
day then ive accom-
plished something.

Just waking up sober
or clean is a huge
accomplishment for us
in recovery to do
everyday. What
a blessing.

At the moment here
in Baton Rouge it is
raining.

Just finished watching
the Preakness Horse race.
The second race for the
Triple Crown. Borell
from Louisiana didnt
win this time.

Let's see ...what else.....
we went to get a bite to
eat earlier and took a trip
to Lowes to check out
the storm doors.

We want to place one
on the front door
for addded security.

Why u ask.....lol well....
i dont like answering
the door period. And just
recently we added a peep
hole just so i can see
who comes to the door.

With a storm door, IF
i ever open the door,
i can have that barrier
between me and them.

Its another way to
protect myself once
again not allowing
people to get to close
for fear of getting
hurt.

As a child i got verbally
and physicallyhurt
from my mom who
was also sick.

A lovely women who
never seemed to
be sick by others,
but behind doors she
was mean and cruel.
Dr. Jeckle/Mr. Hyde
personality with
prescription meds
and alcohol.

Blame the disease...
it destroyes all in its
path.

Anyway...i still even
after all these yrs
insecure at times....
but tough if need to
be.

Becareful,,,,i have
tats and piercings
and got my bike
endorsement even
tho i love riding
passenger with
my spouse. lol

....and still a child
at heart.

Thanks guys for
sharing ur days with
us.
