Hi everyone. I am still here and still sober. I have kept a very tight rein on my socializing the past 24 days and have not been in any situation where I didn't have a clean escape route/have not gone places where people are drinking other than a couple restaurants. This week I have three social commitments with big groups of people, so things are pretty scary, but I think it's probably good for me to be scared! I am going to pick and choose and probably eliminate one of them. It is especially inspiring for me to read about those of you who have a spouse who drinks but still remain sober -- your strength is amazing and I know for myself I would not have gotten so far if I had been around alcohol; although I am scared, I will apply what I have learned here to stay strong.
