I found Al-anon meet places and times for all meetings within 20 miles on the internet. They also have listings at my local library. Try that to get yourself to some meetings.
At Al-anon they have some very helpful liturature and books that can get you started. The wonderful folks there give you phone numbers to call when you are feeling stressed or need to talk to someone.
I am pretty new to this myself, about 6 weeks. I can feel a slight change. At least I'm not a complete crazy all day like I was. Try Al-anon, it will help you!
Also go to the library and check on some books for codependants. Those types of books assist you with letting go and looking to yourself for happiness.
