Debs, if you think this program will help you then by all means it may be worth the risk. That's what I guess you need to assess, the cost, the risk, the benefit, will it work for you? I personally would never feel comfortable with handing my money to someone without some kind of disclaimer that they will get into successful recovery. If they fail to help you, then you shouldn't be on the hook for a huge bill. Since I know they will likely take everything you pay and return nothing if it doesn't work for you then they are only out for themselves.

How about a non-profit organization somewhere near you? I really believe if you are guarded against being able to drink you will get over the cravings. I don't know how long you have gone without a drink is all. I know for me, with any addiction I have quit it took about two months before the cravings started to go away. Maybe if you can be kept away from liquor for at least this long it will become easier for you.
