Asta, I am living vicariously. Seafood is something I love, but with the exception of salmon, I never have the nerve to cook it. I don't know why! I live in a place where seafood is a big deal. Oysters with bacon on top - you are right. That can never go wrong!
Spryte, Just surf the web for some easy recipes. I personally like Food Network website and you put in the ingredient you want to cook with and it comes up with a whole list of recipes using it.
Just follow the recipe. Don't try it with company the first time and don't make a whole big recipe. (Cut the recipe so if it turns out not so good you won't feel bad about tossing it.)
Don't tell me you've never had crab. Here, at all the markets, the crab is cooked but this time of year it is almost always that days catch. Yummm. All I need is a little melted butter and that's dinner for me!
