PC, I'm with Brent, in my schools there were always various crowds... Ironically, I actually hung out with a lot of straight edge kids... I'm guessing they weren't that strict, but they were a lot of fun. Possibly more fun than some of the other kids I hung around.. which is why I liked hanging out with them. A lot less drama. Best of luck to your son... I know it's tough, but a little inner strength can go a long way--and it doesn't hurt in the long run.
