may be an alcoholic! Which given all the good that can come from recovering from it, is far from the worst thing in the world. Of course, as you described, continuing down its sometimes long road untreated usually is.
You've already gotten a hint here of just how many people's stories and thoughts and fears are probably just like your own... Have you ever sat in on an AA meeting? You'd be sure to hear even more.
