When I got out of treatment, I had no idea how to stay sober and be happy for the long term. They did and they were willing to tell me how they did it. So, for me, the 12 step solution was my solution after all.

Still, 12 step programs are not for everybody, so if you go another route, go that other route to the full. There is absolutely no reason to try to do this thing all by yourself. It's not like you get bonus points for doing it without support.
Thanks, it may be what i need. but I dont want to mess this up so im not rushing into failier. I want to do this just once.
