So I'm actually at my inlaws in Austin right now (my hometown
) before we head out to the lake, and I went to a meeting here yesterday. It was a good meeting, I wasn't uncomfortable and the people were welcoming and friendly. Even though I've only been in AA for 21 days, I still missed my group in Houston. As much as I appreciate the availability of meetings everywhere, and I'm anxious to get back to my home group.
