Ha ha ha so true! I have to say I don't love AA and I'd prefer it if I didn't have to be there, but I do so I go, do the programme and make the best of it. A lot of people seem to love it and love the meetings etc but I don't. For me, it's like going to school - I have to do the work to get the rewards, even if I don't enjoy it. I enjoy the results which is a useful, sober life. I enjoyed getting drunk and look where that got me.
