Minor slights became major issues. We were subject to any whim our distorted thoughts cooked up.
I can certainly relate to that. I'd like to ask other members how they coped with the first days and weeks of sobriety while working at the same time; I'm so worried about overreacting to a comment or a situation at work because of going through withdrawal.i'm sure i've done it in the past when trying to give up and have often gone back to the drink for this very reason
